The 100 Black Men of Triangle East, is devoted to improving the quality of life for African-Americans–particularly young males–through programs focusing on health and wellness, economic empowerment, mentoring and education. We work with individuals and groups throughout North Carolina, primarily in Wake and Durham counties. Through our health and wellness programs we focus on education, awareness and public policy issues that disproportionately affect African Americans. Our trained mentors work with youth grades 6-12 and serve as role models for this age group through our Mentoring the 100 Way Program. Our educational programs seek to help youth meet their academic goals and reinforce the importance of academic success. And our economic programs seek to promote financial literacy, wealth building within families and a sense of entrepreneurship. If you have any questions or would like to become involved with 100 Black Men Triangle East, please contact us. We look forward to hearing from you! Get involved today!

Let's make a difference

MENTORING is the cornerstone of 100 Black Men of America, Inc. (The 100) and its network of over 100 Chapters. The unique social, cultural and emotional needs of our primarily African-American male participants are addressed through one-to-one and group mentoring relationships by 100 Black Men chapter members. Committed to our cause, our members serve as positive role models, advocates, and trusted advisors to children and young adults. Our mentoring program is an effective, evidenced-based and strategic intervention that helps youth reach their full potential and become contributing members of society. The miracles of mentoring impact over 125,000 lives annually and change communities.
